Our emerald rings are bezel set in 22k recycled gold.  The gold for

each band is hammered, heated till red hot and hammered again.  This process is repeated several times to give them a quality of being centuries old.  No two rings are exactly the same.  

 

Colombian emeralds are generally lighter in color and have

more of a yellowish tint while Zambian emeralds tend to have a slightly bluer tint.  The choice is purely a matter of personal preference.
